paxton vs f1 kb and whipple

I was just wondering what is the best because the kb whipple and f1 are around $6000 and the paxton is 2 to 3 thousand and produc the same power.

they produce the same HP on a stock motor but the KB, whipple and F1 are capable of much high boost levels. F1 being the most capable. It all depends on what you want to do to the car down the road.

The positive displacement superchargers reach maximum boost at lower rpms than the centrifugal types so it also depends if you want more low end or high end boost.

You must be talking about a tuner kit. I bought my 2200 for $4,700.00 delivered and I haven’t seen one cheaper since. I think Vortec full kit is about $3,800.00 +. Nice HP numbers for the price and polished versus satin.

You can make up the difference in lag with a set of gears IMO.

Any blower can make incredible numbers on a single dyno pull. Problem most people see on the street is a blower that runs hot, thus reducing on demand performance while pimping around town.

The High level centris are designed to run 18-25psi efficiently. While the smaller blowers are desidned to run 8 to 14psi effieciently. The temps are heavily swayed and become an issue when you try to get higher in the boost ranges. Even with an intercooler. When you start trying to make higher boost and ask a blower that is best efficient at certain RPM ranges, but now demand higher ones the result is hot compressed air. Much hotter than prior. Result of that is you may be overworking the blower.
