Spring question?

Just got finished installing my rear eibach springs and when I lowered it down and stuck the tape to it the passenger side is almost 1/4'' lower than the drivers side. What could cause this? Will it settle in place after I drive it? I still have to adjust the panhard bar and put the front springs on in the morning. Anybody had any issues like this?

I don't think the bumo stops has anything to do with one side lower then the other, could be that the spring is not correctly placed on one side.

yeah, but thats a little rubber piece that limits the car's bottoming out, not how low the car will drop. The little ruber piece is like 1" tall, you have to drop the car like 3 or 4 inches for the bump stop to limit how much the car is dropped.

After reading an old 5.0 article on installing the eibachs it said not to tighten the shocks up until car was on the ground that tightening while lifted could cause bushing preload and a slightly higher ride height. That may be where I screwed up.

Yeah I'll let you know tomorrow maybe even post some pics of the new stance if I can figure out how to re-size the images.

Use photobucket, you can select the size you want and it'll upload it @ like 800x600, 1024x768 or whatever.

First thing I would do is check the psi in each tire. Then I would take the car to a location where I know the surface to be flat. Usually a concrete slab is a good indicator of a level surface. Like at a gas station or at one of these oil change places that have pits. I would think that would be very level.
