Super Chargers, which one? Help....

Ok all of you supercharger guru's here is a question. I am still torn over weather to stay naturally aspirated (heads, cams, etc) or forced induction. I know that realistically I will get no higher than 400hp without a blower. I have ruled out any use of turbo charging. I have seen a lot posted about some superchargers being more efficient, or this and that. I need your opinions (prefferably from experience) between Roush, Saleen, FRPP, Kenne Bell, which would be best for overall performance and reliability? I have listed Kenne Bell because they have a very good reputation, the others I listed because I could have my dealer install and get warranty coverage. That and I tend to like the screw type superchargers over the centrifugal ones. Let me know what you think. I would run 5-8psi boost and no more than 10psi. At those levels what blower would be best across the board from low to high?

Any of the following would meet your needs.

ProCharger
Vortech
Paxton
Whipple
KB
Saleen

the are all reliable and will meen your goal. I would not go with Roush because that blower sucks. It produces alot of heat and isn't very capable.

06redfire can you enlighten me a little on how you know the Roush produces all this heat? I have one and have never had a heat problem. I am quite happy with mine. Norm

Roush blowers just dont produce the hp the other twin screws can. There was a guy in town here that bought a stage III roush and he swapped the roush blower for a whipple and at the same PSI and conditions the whipple produced over 40 rwhp more than the roush and the powerband looked alot better as well...

Regency...I know others can produce more power...If I had a do over I'd probably get the whipple but I got nothing bad to say about the Roush and never experienced a heat problem.

There is nothing wrong with roush, just not as efficient as the others...

I think you would get better power from a leaf blower or hair dryer... I saw some video of these guys that hooked a leaf blower up to a honda and it gained around 30 hp to the front wheels I love saying that, "to the front wheels"

I was just going off of what somebody on here said. But the roots resign of the Roush isn't as efficient as a twin screw.
