door molding peeling?

Hey guys, anyone had this problem where the molding around your door starts to peel? It's on the hard black molding above the door, it almost looks like it got knicked by a rock and is now starting to peel a bit. i pulled off a dime sized piece last week and it almost looked pretty normal again but now it's peeling again. this wouldn't be under warranty would it?

i had a similar problem w/ the molding peeling on the side edge of the door...only happened near middle of summer on really hot days...my dealer said they could replace it but it would probably do the same thing next summer...

it stopped peeling though right? does it look bad or it's hard to notice?

it only peeled on 95 degree or higher days and i would push it back against the door...by night when it cool down the glue sealed again.

some of the glue used to seal it smeared on the door before i actually noticed what the glue was from (that was a bitch to clean) but now that its not that hot i cant tell it ever happened

mine is only affected on hot days and is otherwise not noticeable
