Total Fluid Change
Just like the title says I want to change all my fluids to Royal Purple. Sorry about all the questions. New to the car and only want the best. Correct me if I'm wrong on some of the fluids and amount needed. Would it be worth to change everything to RP, if not what are the next top of the line products that have been in the trial and error process.
1. Motor Oil- 5w20, 6qts 2. Transmission- 75W90 or 75W140, 3qts 3. Differential- 75W90, ??? 4. Power Steering- Max EZ, ??? |

Check
For the trans its 3.2 quarts for a stick and 11.9 for an auto. The manual doesnt say what weight. Rear end is 75W-140 4.25 pints And the power steering fluid wouldn't make a difference, just leave it. I use Mobile 1 myself, but RP is also very good.

Royal purple is a good choice for synthetic fluids as would amsoil ... even mobil 1 full synthetic seems to be a decent synthetic oil for your crankcase. I'd definately go full synthetic with your oil, trans, and power steering but I think you already have full synthetic in the rear end if I'm not mistaken. Depending on how hard you intend to drive your stang ... it should be fine with the factory fluid there. IMHO
I changed mine @ 1300 km for amsoil full synthetic 5w 20 in the crankcase and will be changing the manual trans to full synthetic as well. (Std Trans Uses Synthetic ATF fluid - same as the automatic) (For some odd reason Ford filled all Canadian bound mustangs with dino oil, and the US mustangs recieved synthetic blend. I was more than happy to change out the black tar, for some golden honey, once it was broken in) Dollar for dollar a wise investment for your baby! |

It'll be pretty cheap for me because I can get it on base and its all tax free. So 3.2qts (5spd) tranny, Rear end is 4.25qts

Not sure when but our auto shop/ gas station sells the entire line of RP. From motor oil, tranny, power steering, radiator additive, rear end. Then again I'm in the Air Force and I'm guessing by NEX your in the Navy.

There shouldn't be a problem if I added RP power steering fluid to bring it up to the Max line
