99-04 Bullits for Slicks on 07?

Anyone know if the 99-04 wheels will fit on the rear of an 07 just to throw some ET Streets on?

I believe just the backspacing is different. If so, does it stick out further or will I need spacers?

Have access to some just need to know if it would be worth picking them up.

They will fit, but they will stick out of the wheels well.

American muscle has 17" bullits for 2005+...that's where I got my weekend wheels, pretty reasonable prices too, under 200 a piece.

Got access to some 99-04s for free. Don't want to spend the extra 400 if I don't have to.

Who cares if they're just for track duty.

Not worried about the looks. Just throwing some ET Streets on the rear for the track.

lol, Hell no. Been running at a crappy track lately. No prep or anything. Still fun though.

Thinking the tires might offset my inability to launch consistently a bit.

lol I hear ya. The sticky tires will certainly help a great deal, esp on a shitty track.

Hoping for some 12s with tires. That's been my "Magic Number". Told myself I wasn't doing Gears, Exhaust, or Spray until I was already in the 12s. After hitting a 12 sec run, the real fun begins. Well after my checkbook gets caught up.

Hey Gt,

I just found this post. Like I said in the pm response. They fit just fine for me at 255/50 but I can't go any wider without looking ridiculous. Since cosmetics are not an issue, you'll be fine.
