Painting CalipersI have a paint kit. Not a spray so I'm guessing I could do it without removing the rim or maybe just take off the rim? |

I painted the calipers on my older mustang and all I did was jack up the car wheel by wheel, took off the rim, put duct tape around the area your gonna paint, and just go at it. After you finish your first caliper let it sit for 10-15 minutes and you should be set. hope it helps

Not sure if the G2 kit is only available online I know that is how I got mine. As for which is better not sure Many have used both the Duplicolor and the G2 with good results.
Which ever kit you use put on a minimum of 4 coats. I only did two and I have chipped the calipers when removing the wheels so at some point I am going to have to re do them. I did mine with the calipers in place and just taped everything up including the face of the brake rotor.

And drying time is dependent on temp and humidity - I give them the rec amount of drying time so that the paint can cure. Do it once the right way or do it over and over again - been there a time or two
