Im slightly bias agianst paxton. I bought a used paxton about 7 years back ( my first supercharger ) for my 5.0. and the damn case had a slow drip leak, and being located directly above the alternator, it kept taking out alternator after alternator ( luckily I bought one of the ford performance ones with the warranty, so they kept replacing them for free for me ) but it was still a hassle none the less... I know it wasnt paxtons fault, but then I upgraded to the kenne bell for my 5.0 and never looked back. Coarse then I got my procharger for my new mustang and I think that it pulls harder than the KB did. Of coarse your not at full boost at 2,000 rpms
. Sounds like this could be a good deal, but what I have been trying to get to is that I am weary about buying a used SC.

With all that you list it's a pretty decent deal, it's not like an off the street good deal, but a good enough one having a company involved to make it a comfortable deal - which is always a plus.
I'd say that like previously asked, if they supply any type of warranty that this would make it better. |
