Wideband 02 SensorsI have no idea what a wideband 02 sensor is, and why it's important... and why its SO EXPENSIVE!! I met a guy at a car show who is the main SCT-Mustang tuner in Houston. He works at UTI as an instructor...as a fellow stangbanger, and because it'd be a good lesson for his students, he offered to dyno, and custom tune my mustang. There was just one catch. He wanted me to get a Wideband 02 Sensor. He told me why, and my father and I agreed, but I couldn't relay his reasons, it's been a while. Help me out here!

Wideband will allow you to better monitor your air/fuel ratio. The dyno guy will prob set your gauge up so that you can constantly monitor your air/fuel. You will want to try and obtain a perfect ratio of 14.7 to 1. Of course different fuels will have different ratios.
