im about to order my mustang. i dont see any option for picking what gears and based on what ive read here i want 3.73. what are the factory options and how do i know what my car will have.

unless you get a ford GT you won't see 3:73's from the factory.

the 3:55 are on the Cobra and Mach1's though.

so there are no optional gears? last thing i bought was an f150 and i had the option (went 3.73)

the stock gt mustang 5spd will be the 3.3 then?

highest from factory you can go is 3:55 but i would suggest just getting the 3:31's and not paying the extra money and just have the ford dealership order you some Ford racing 3:73's and have them install it for you when the car comes in.

the Trucks gears are lower because they are well.. trucks. lol
you have the option for 3:55's other than that you would be getting 3:27's in most cases.

22k will get you a nice car though.

that price is the listed xplan price on the fordpartner site for a stock gt delux 5spd

either mon or tue im going to order it. white with the spoiler delete

the gears cost around $220-240.
the install kit ( I don't think you need ) is around another $150
the install itself normally runs around $300.00

our building is probably about 50/50 now

all the new cars are auto. the p500 are almost all gone, and we are getting alot of new 570 series (work horse and sprinters) 700s (international, frieghtliner, and workhorse), and 1000s mostly international but some work horses with a gmc big block that is actually kinda fun to drive, fast fast fast.

the mustang called me and i gotta spend that 28.17$ an hr somehwere -- y did u quit lol
