Roush Rear WingI really like the looks of it and plan on adding to my car at some point. I am not a mechanic but have done my own UDP's and suspension, but how much of that thing called "patience" and a steady hand do you need not to screw this up? If you paid someone how much was it? Thanks |

are you a good artist? That should answer your question if you need to put it on or a body shop, paint shop...

Artist? Hell no. I am all about the impact wrench and a cold one.
It comes painted to match so it is tempting given that they send a template, but it is 3 piece and I could see how it could be screwed up. |

Roush Wing
Lightly center tap holes on side. Remove masking tape on wing that were painted, almost missed those holes. Takes more time getting wing and gasket off then installing it. Touch up all holes drilled with primer and seal with silicon. Do not leave any burrs or filings around as they will rust immediately through paint. Best wing out there!

I love my wing. Mine came with it but I've seen a few installed and even I could do it,
which is saying a lot.

I installed mine (as well as the hood scoop) myself. The templates Roush provided are excelent and simply match to known locations on your car. Just tape them down with painters tape and measure and re-measure to make sure everything is even. Like the post above, center-punch each hole prior to drilling so the drill bit doesn't slip. All-in-all, this was an easy install. Just take your time and you'll be proud pof the work you did yourself. The most tedious part was cutting out the damn templates.

It's very easy to do .. just take your time and you'll be fine -- you really can't mess it up as it has a template to follow
