You picked the wrong wire on the switch, one of them is dimmer to interior cluster and dash lamps. Believe it's a green wire, use a test light to be sure so your not splicing all of the wires in that lead to the lamp switch..

Yes the cobalts are dimmable, I wired mine to dim as well, they work great and match the intensity of the dash lights perfectly, no matter how dim they are. DO NOT wire your gauge power wire into the dimmer though...just the gauge lamp wire...

speaking of gauges...I was looking into a wideband 02 sensor gauge. Any ideas as to where to look for some ok-priced ones?

I think autometer makes them now in all their popular styles, such as the Cobalts...wish they'd made them before I bought an AEM wideband that doesn't match. Try americanmuscle.com or lethalperformance.com

I am putting these in my car in the next few weeks.
Speed of Sound Pillar guages. $119.00 Dynojet Wide band A/F guage with moniter $400 dollars Autometer Manusl Boost Guage Black Face with silver trim ring. $90.00 And I am putting Blue Bulbs in them and hooking them up to my dash dimmer. Any opinions about what i am choosing to go with and if I am making any mistakes? Also is the 2 pod good enough with the 2 guages above mentioned or should i go with the 3 pod and ad another guage(If I need another one) Thanks

You want blue gauges? Seriously, go with the Autometer Cobalts...they match our blue dash PERFECTLY...needles and numbers and all...and get the threee-gauge with the blue raptor shift light with boost, wideband A/F and fuel pressure (or EGT if you're N/A)...I absolutely have nothing bad to say about any of autometer and SOS's stuff...

I've got the Speed of Sound a-pillar and the Oil Pressure/Boost Guages from Autometer's Lunar line. I wired them into the power on the headlights and into the dimmer as well. That way my lights control the guages coming on and the dimming works just fine.

I'm not 100% sure it was green, which is why I said "I believe", and backed it with use a test light to be sure.. I put mine in nearly a year ago and without going back in the dash I can't be 100% certain.

pastor, I'm not a big fan of the ingiglo look, however I like the signature lighting up in the cluster alot. Is that the roush stage three cluster in it's natural state or did you add a indiglo type overlay?

Probably...your green wire is your signal, but IDK...if the signal from the coil wire is amplified at all by the power from the red wire, you'll have problems...not sure how the black magic inside the tach is wired up, but the rest of the gauges have power (red), ground (black), signal (vaires from purple to grey depending on gauge), and white for backlight control, which goes to your switch/dimmer.
