There's nothing wrong with wanting your shit to look good, bro. The mustang is already powerful enough - we all know it. I guess it just depends on what you can live with immediately.
It's gonna suck having to wait to lower my car, get the aesthetics I want installed (CDC Agg chin spoiler, Roush rear louvers, etc), but I can pop that stuff on one paycheck at a time. The supercharger is going to make me happiest knowing that every ricer thinks I'm a stock mustang until...rev, rev...and then I'm gone! Leaving him to think about how pretty his wheels and wing are... That's what I want more than anything right now.

Make sure they have the problem worked out with the hurst first. Recall comeing.
Lower it and get the rims, you will be happy. It makes the car look awesome. Then get 4.10s you will love those. |

It's all about the power. I've never even raced anyone yet, either...except for this Tiburon. But I don't think he counts. The more I think about it the more it makes sense to just skip the SC for now and go with the stuff that will show off the car more immediately. Wheels really would look good. I'm gettin tired of hammering my car all by my lonesome...

Everyone wants more power...even if they don't really need it. I did a big chunk of go-fast mods when I first got my stang, think imma do some cosmetic stuff next with some suspension. Then once I got a good platform to work with imma bolt on some power, probably a whipple or KB.

I mean I don't see too many people running vortechs here on s197s, but the option exists to get a supercharger for the money you have at your disposal.

thats ok... don't want a vortech. I would go with saleen, paxton, kb, whipple and procharger. Anybody know of anyone on this sight selling a used one?

I don't like them because they take away power in the lower part of the powerband(or the opposite) They don't really add power, the just move it around.

I just found an awesome deal on some rims! There is a guy here locally that contacted me. He is selling his chrome 20x9 shelby razors with nitto nt555's on them for $1,000! He has only put about 1,000 miles on them, and is selling them because they are too heavy. He said he wants to go with 18's instead.

If i can't find a deal on a supercharger for $4,000(best i've found so far is a saleen for $4,300) I will be getting:
bmr lowering kit 4:10's spydershaft hurst short throw cervini elanor window scoops, side scoops, and ducktail wing cdc black grille without fog lights and pony emblem on the right thats all that is for sure right now. Stuff that i'm also considering is: Roush front fascia window tint Black racing stripes, and rocker panel stripes that say FORDRACING new 12'' subs and amp and a custom box to fit my trunk. |
