i have a ratlle coming from my center console when i hold the gas steady like very slightly.

i also had the fuel monitor where it says W/E miles to empty..it malfunctioned i guess because i know i had 60 miles left to empty then it jumped to 2 miles to empty then to 0....

i also hear a noise coming from the shifter i would be in park and i would tap the brake then here a click noise and i repeated tapping it one time to see if it was just me or it really was the brake and everytime i hit the brake and let go i heard a click near the shifter...

is this a recall thing or normal? i dont know its my first car... its an automatic gt 06

Jat, the brake click is probably the pre-shift lock that is disengaged to prevent going into gear without the brake pressed...most of your newer cars have it, and if you listen you can hear the click...check for any kind of change in your console, if not, some could have fallen down your parking brake rubber...other than that, its under the plastic, talk to ford...

TSB= Technical Service Builten
I belive if the car is underwarrenty the dealer is suppost to fix these for free. And if it is not underwarrenty they will charge you to get these fixed.

+1

It's similar to a recall, except that if a recall comes out on your car, usually the dealer will repair/replace the item even if your warranty is over.

I kind of like having it here so we can add to it as new TSB's come out, and it's nice for new members to learn about possible TSB's on their cars.

Dude. Who cares. It's a sticky at the top of a forum to help people, how can it bother you, just don't read it. Other people may want to know this information.

It is bugging me. If sticky needs to do it then create a 2006 listing. This is bothering those that do not have a 2006. This is a 2005+ section. Create a 2006 section then

Okay, I don't know what to say. It's a forum thread, I'm not quite sure what bugs you about it, seeing as it's important information for our year of car. Half the sections in this forum have sticky's to help people. I really can't see how it bothers someone, the whole idea of a technical based forum is to make important relevant information available to us.

The name of this forum section is 2005+. I doubt mdvaldosta is going to make an entire 2006 section for TSB's. These TSB's are for an 06, and so fit in the 2005+ section. And just because those TSB's say 2006 doesn't mean they won't apply to an 05 or 07.
I found two TSB's for my car from this thread, and mine is an 07.
I'm still not quite sure why it bothers you to have to look below one sticky.
Also with the sticky here, we can have it updated when new TSB's come out.
But hey, it's not my call. If it bothers you, PM a mod about it, and if it moves, I guess I'll have to keep track of it and go digging for stuff if I need this information.

Hey...UnZippee !. You had it dead on ! "Okay, I don’t know what to say". You should have stuck with that and then just shut the hell up. I never asked you for a comment. You are not the author of "sticky" ..What purpose it serves you is just that "personal". You really need to follow you own advise with you clever signature and "RUN YOUR CAR, NOT YOUR MOUTH"
