check in your console for a plug in, my 07 has an aux port in the console to plug your ipod or portable DVD player into, set your radio to aux. and enjoy, the movies on dvd sound great with the subs in the door (its like a portable home entertainment center)

BrandMotion IPod Interface..

guys I have the best IPod PIE adapter made for our headunits, just came out. It's made by a company called BrandMotion it allows me to control my ipod through the actual ford headunit, charge the ipod, and displays the song on the screen of the stock headunit. it plugs directly into the aux port. anytime you want to play your ipod, simply hit the aux and it goes right to work playing it, no FM transmitter, direct connect! this also works with those who have satellite radio!

its well worth it. I put it on my focus and have another one on order for my stang and it works great!!!!

here's my post!

here's a demo video I made on how it works:

This id the one I've been looking @ P.I.E. FRD04-POD/S iPod® Adapter Control your iPod with select Ford, Lincoln, or Mercury factory stereos at Crutchfield.com

its out of stock, and its bassically the same as that BrandMotion... don't know if you can choose artist and albums... but I know you can control the ipod through the stereo.

few drawbacks to this one compared to the brandmotion. crutchfield, you have to splice a 12V source and ground the PIE adapter, brandmotion is plug and play. crutchfield will not work with those who have navigation system and/or satellite radio. brandmotion will work with nav and/or satellite radio systems.

here is the website in case anyone is wondering:

Brandmotion

although it retails for $240 direct from them, shoot me a PM and I will give you a contact of a dealer that will sell it $199 shipped to your door.

BTW, you check it by turning the radio on, then hold 3 and 6 for 3-5 seconds, then press 6, finally press the "^" arrow and it should give you the number...

Turn the radio off, and then back on to get out of the diagnostics.

if you don't have an aux jack, you can get just about anything and everything to hook your i-pod up to your stereo. Target and wal mart have a large selectio to choose from
