Rotor Question?

Who sells good quality drilled and slotted rotors that is the same size as stock? I can't stand the rust around the edges of mine. I saw some on e-bay but I figured the quality was not that good. Thanks,

Which one, The rotor pros?

I'm personally looking at them... but you can get the stage 2 brake package from brenspeed which includes brake pads, braided lines, and performance brake fluid .

Actually I have not seen the rotorpros until now. They look pretty nice. Anybody have any information about them. That might be an option.

I bought mine on eBay (double drilled and slotted)from a seller "Brakelabs" It was $320 with shipping... best deal I could find and the came with a new set of pads.very smooth transaction and they look great. They are zinc coated so the rest of the rotor won't rust.I don't know if you have worked on the new stang brakes yet but to compress the pistons in the rear callipers takes a specialized tool the rotates the piston as it pushes it in.Borrowed one from the autoparts store. just FYI.. you might have to view it full size to see much

Ebay stuff can be decent. My friend bought some of ebay and they look great. I have the FRPP rotors on my 98 and they have the surface rust around the edges. Make sure whatever you get is zinc coated or equivalent. The tool mentioned is about $10 at any parts store. If you've done brakes on earlier model Stangs then you may already have one.

Luis,

Are you using a FM transmitter or did you get the ipod adapter? If you got the adapter, where did you get it from and how much?

I still use the iTrip... thinking of getting the brand motion

Brandmotion

or buy a DVD radio that has the ipod interface on the touch screen... my uncle has one and it was pretty nice... especially for the 350 price tag

Most new rotors have zinc coating, even Powerslots but it soon wears off. Bear in mind that the better rotors like Brembo have a high iron content (as opposed to steel) and rust more when not used.
