2007 battery

Hello
I can't believe how long my battery last in my 2007 Mustang GT! It last for about 2 weeks. I know that there is a TSB on this problem. Is there a fix or is it just a battery change?
My car is in storage and the roads are still covered in salt.

That seems to be the major consensus on many of these forums. Buy a good battery & Turn off Radio while stored.

Also while storing your vehicle, buy a good Battery Tender,I've got one on my Harley, now that I don't ride it as much....lol.. Keeps the battery charged, and once it's charged keeps putting a trickle charge in it to keep it up to snuff, and will not overcharge it....

Do you have the active anti-theft alarm? Some people have been suspicious that the alarm sensors are slowly draining the battery for people who don't daily drive their cars.

Good point!!!

I also use a battery tender with very good results. No issues so far (knock on wood)... I have also switched to an Optima Red Top and its worked very well so far.

Mine died after 8 days! The dealer replaced it no question, they didn't even pro-rate it. 2 thumbs up on the radio off tip.
