Pro 5.0 shifter

I know this site is pretty much MGW territory but does anybody with an S197 on this site run the pro 5.0 shifter. I know we got some hurst and steeda guys.

Was just wondering what to expect from this shifter. And what the throw is becuase i cant find that out on their site. Even JPC didnt know, he said he thinks it is a 50% reduction in throw.

i know its a premuim shifter and i use to hear a lot about them but not around here.

yea everybody use to use them. it seems like you dont hear about them much lately. I think this shifter has everything the mgw has except the adjustable throw and height.

I have it with the Hurst Chrome Shifter lever and White Knob. It is a very good shifter and I havent had any problems with it as of yet. The throw is 38% on the lower setting and I think 32% on the upper setting from what PRO 5.0 told me when I spoke with them. The only complaint I have is that it is hard to get into 5th and Reverse until you get it broke in.
