+1, I only said they were louder on the current stangs. I know the KBs were louder on the previous gens.

you know times are changing when we are talking about which s/c whines the loudest. get a paxton if you want loud. I know a guy with a 65 fast back with a paxton blower on it that whines louder when he is idling than that cobra was.

yeah I saw a renagade fox body with a Procharger F3-R, that thing was LOUD!!! and it went pretty fast too

I dont know if they suck, but i hear they really blow..... hard.

seemed like last year it was all about the KBs.


This year people are talking about whipples again.

Oh well im unblown.

If you want loud go with a Procharger....them things are loud as hell. How loud is the Saleen compared to the KB or Whipple?

The Saleen is louder than the KB but quieter than the Whipple

Yeah, on the S197, for whatever reason, the 2.3 whipple is definitely louder.

Here is what my car sounds like at the track with a whipple at 16psi-

First from inside the car:

In car camera Irwindale Whipple Mustang

And from outside in the grandstands:

Whipple mustang 6.89 @ 100 mph Irwindale
