Well when shopping for a supercharger alot of people look for alot of different things. I personally wanted great power first and didn't want a super loud blower, like to keep things discret, but I happened to get a good deal on the whipple so I said screw it. Its on average the loudest out of the 3 twinscrews I've heard on the current gen stangs so far. There are always exceptions though. Prochargers have the the loudest SCs I've heard so far on the current gens.

Glad to hear you got a supercharger, and hope it runs well for you. I love whipple, but they refuse to make one for the vette's which I'd like to make my next project, so it looks like I'll be going to KB next, as Jim told me he'd have one ready in about 6 months for the 2005 and up corvette's. I'd like to be putting down about 700wrhp in my next daily driver. Enjoy, they are funny to have. Just remember "WHEN IN DOUBT POWER OUT."
