I like my nuts the way they are so I better get up to Sears Point and post some numbers. For whats nest I just order the Bassani X pipe and some Autolite HO plugs....From there I will just chill for the winter. I am sure I will be bored by spring and will take it to the next level. I have alot of boost left so the sky is the limit.

Hahaha! ya you had better think about a forged short block. That is in the plans for me, 500rwhp will last a little while then I'll turn up the wick with a short block and run around 550rwhp as a street driver.

Ya and with your Novi you can do it. The problem with the KB is when more than say 12 psi is used the intake air temps get pretty high. A friends '05 Mustang did 11.3 @ 125 mph with a KB at 11psi! That was 505rwhp (Mustang Dyno). I think 550 rwhp at say 12-13 PSI would be a great street car. I imagine 10's. If you look at the trap speed he should be in the 10's. Actual fastest trap speed was 128mph.

You sound like me though, I think 550 will be good then it will be 650 and so on. The problem is with street tires which I will have on 99% of the time, the cars power will just be un-usable on the street with 650rwhp.

Your right, up to about 75 mph or so. Heck my buddies Z06 has 420rwhp and it has traction problems at 60mph or so. He runs a 12.1 @ 116 but he also weighs 31-3200 lbs.

My mission is to pull on him, I figure 475rwhp or up will do it. We will see.

We have a few cars here at work with 600-700 H.P on the motor but they are all over 200K stickers....I could change up the pulley and tune on my 55 and have 520 at the wheels easy and still drive thr car with one finger....so I have to say I disagree with your statment...you may be right when talking about the GT but 500 rwhp is not that big of a deal these days.....could all be relative thow.

I am at 469 rwhp and I can only get a chirp from 1-2...I hook all the way..mayby my clutch is slipping (helpng) but I like it....pulls hard...no traction issues here.

My buddy has a 2003 SL55, we did the Renntech pulley and ECU upgrade. The car pulled about 465rwhp if I remember correctly. It drives very nice and has PLENTY of torque. The car also runs just a 12.6 @ 112 here in Vegas. You have to remember the SL CL weighs almost 4400lbs! That is almost 1000 pounds more than a s197.
