I have the Granatelli Twin 62MM throttle body. Noticable difference in the throttle response, and some HP gaines on the high end. Note I also have the K&N air charger. I would suggest a similar set up. By the way you'll love the sound they produce.

BBK just installed!
Hey there, I just installed mine on Sunday and I like it. It definitely accelerates harder, it'll break the tires loose easily even with traction control off. And with my JLT intake, just tap the throttle and you can hear the increases amount of airflow.
I like it. PS Don't forget, the spring must go counter-clockwise........ anything else and your car will not run! First hand experience

I also have the Granatelli Twin 62MM throttle body and I did run into a little problem with it at very low speeds and low rpm, but the problem ended up being the TPS[/list]

So I've read.
When the differences that I noticed go away and I have tuning problems I'll put up another post.

throttle body
Do you really get that much out of a bigger throttle body. I put BBK 75mm on both a 2000 and 2002 GTs but didn't really see any increase. And I've heard both sides on twin 62s on an '05. Some say it helps, some say not. If yes I'd put one on mine.
What about an intake spacer. I've heard both good and bad. |

Actually I bought the TB from a local shop who offerred it as an option for an upgrade. After I bought it I came back to the forums and checked into it again. Based on what I've read remembered why I wouldn't have spent $300 on one. But since I bought it I put it on and there was a difference, how much? Who knows, but I've decided to hold afterall.

I had a nightmare with my LFP 62mm, fail-Safe mode really really sucks.
At the time I had no way to clear a code either. The stock TB was ran deep into the 10's by Justin Burcham IMHO, use your hard earned dollars for something better than an OEM TB. |
