Got it online somewhere...just shop around for the best price...Brenspeed sounds like a good place to start, what with free shipping and all.

You will want the new hurst. It has a 40 percent reduction in throw instead of the 36, and fully adjustable stop bolts.

yea i think mine is 36%... from ford had the other handle for the stock knob and everything.. gonna buy a bullitt boot because i hate this rubber gromet.. i have my stick mounted to the left side so its kinda cantalever, it rubs, but i love the position.

I thought the stops were built into the transmission so adj stops aren't necessary...

the stops on the shifter won't let you bend the shift forks when power shifting it, they are for people that use all there body weight to shift. I have the Tri-ax and took the stop bolts out since I granny shift anyway. They are not needed but can save you money in the long run if you power shift all the time because they save the shift forks

The new one looks a whole lot beefier than the first generation one. I think there's a picture of it somewhere one this site. It looks like it'll be worth the wait.

Which shifter are you talking about? The pro 5.0 and steeda have different holes that you can mount them on to change the height. i dont know if the hurst will have that or not, didnt pay attention but none of them are going to be that short. The first hurst stick was actually a little higher then stock. The pro.5.0 is about the same height as stock or higher if you mount in on the top two holes, the steeda same.

yea the tri-ax is nice. I got all three the pro 5.0, tri-ax, and will have the new hurst whenever it gets here, was told mid april. that problably means two more weeks like i said, but maybe it will come in this week. The new hurst also has a second to third mechanism to help with that, the first hurst had nothing for that.

got mine from Ford Motorsport Racing, came with the lever to fit the stock
knob and the chrome Hurst lever, I didn't like the big rubber grommet you have to use for the hurst lever so I install the Bullitt shifter boot, no grommet required, not sure if I like the satin finished bezel, but it does match my dash which is the aluminum satin ribbed panels.
