dr's width


nitto is skinniest, the m&h, then m&t? where do bf's fit in? in 275/40-17. correct me if i'm wrong i think i got it right

just go to the websites and find out, but why would you want the skinniest? go big if you can

cuz im putting em on 8" wheels.... and they all vary by brand, even if its minute amounts, im ocd. want mt's, hook the best. but im afraid nitto's are thinnest.
and i dont want a 28" tire, yet.

if you have stock gears the 28" tire will hurt you anyway. some et streets on a stock 07 V6 rim. they are 16's though. the tire was 26x10.5 and it actually will help you with the stock gears since the tire is shorter than your stocker. if you use them for your dd though they will be gone in no time.

For a dd nitto 555dr's are the way to go! They get excellent traction on the street and they last longer than the other brands, but aren't too good at the track though. I can only launch at 3,000 rpms and I'm still spinning a good bit. I have a friend with Mickey T's 275/40/17 and he is launching at 5500 rpms with very little spin. If you want good track times go with the mickeys.

i dont want slicks i want street tires.. and i can get nitto drags for $145 each.. so even cheaper than regular tires.

thats what i figured... anyone have any luck with BFG drag radial?
