Quote for installing lowering springs

So I got my Eibach Lowering springs kit. I went down to Speedy Auto to get a quote for installation. They quoted me $485 + tax!!!!!!!!! Does that seem too high? I was expecting something in the ballpark of 200-300$ .

yea is sounds high its about normal though. You know it is something you can do yourself. You can borrow a spring compressor from autozone its not that hard of a job.

+1 on doing it yourself...I did and it wasn't difficult and was a learning experience. Plus I could make sure everything was right. Emay, I wish you were my neighbor...

I'm having the FRPP M-2005-FR3 (shocks, struts, springs, anti-roll bar kit) installed by the dealer for $490... this includes their standard $59.95 alignment.
