Nothing wrong with the world bro. Its a performance issue. 3 vavles and 4 vavles for that matter just dont want to lope like that. You can make them but there is a cost. power.

Bad part about it is your car will sound freaking bad ass, so the people you can take wont run you and the ones that do run you will probably have monsters sitting under the hood.

Think about this im makeing as much power up top and more down low then the bbr stage I car with springs, retainers and ported heads. yea the car has a lopey sound, but my car would clean that cars clock with like 5 grand less in parts and labor.

But im with you dude. Who doesnt like this sound. Tease you a little more.

if you want comp cams let me know i'll give you a price. The 270 is good. the lopey sound with your 2 vavle is not an issue. you can get that with any big cam.

alright dude. Finally i talked to the engineers. They are working on it for us. They had a couple of sets they tested already. Then said they will call me tomorrow with some specs and numbers.

Does comp have their own test engines? Yea dude they use computer simulations first and then test engines. Your dealing with the big boys now.

They test hundreds of cams for our engines. They know some people like the sound, but with the grinds they tested with a lot of lope they just dont make power or even lose power. The guy said he will get me something for you but it will have minimal power gains, but he said he will give you a the sound. hopefully tomorrow he can come up with some power numbers and we'll go from there. We talked a little bit about some specs.

oh if comp tells you they chop then they chop. Maybe he can give me a sound clip. They have sound clips on their site for other cams.

the video of a stage 4 comp on youtube sounds good, so they can compare them to those if they cant get a sound clip, more choppy, less choppy, etc.............as long as i dont lose power i will be fine with them.
