FRPP cams!!!!!

there was a limited few (i think like 7 sets) of cams that FRPP sent out this week........................they are starting to get some in!!! they have another order of 50 sets, but they dont know when they will recieve them. Somebody from this site HAS to be gettin' one of those few sets already shipping out. Im about to go get a personal loan to fix my other car and pay off my 4 wheeler, im just gonna have to get a little "extra" out of the bank for these lol

i have heard the comps, and i dont really like their idle........they are a very good cam, just dont sound radical enough. I LOVE the way a BBR 2 sounds, i just have heard some negative things about them, and i really dont want to put lockouts on my vct(daily driver)

i think he gained 40 something hp with a set of comp NSR cams and long tube headers...........take into consideration lt's net about 12 max, so he gained 30 something hp from the comps.............the frpp cams are only going to net in the 20s.

what about torque though, the comp nsr cams lose torque and I thought someone said the frpp cams don't. tome that is more important than peak horsepower anyway.

Don't tease me... I don't believe you

For real though... if these ARE indeed shipping (finally), will someone please validate the fact?

Who told you comp cams lose low end power? I didnt lose anything down low. And who told you the hot rod cams dont lose power down low. Far as I know only one car has been dynoed with those cams. I'm familar with them. When the person that did the R&D on them tells you to go comp, you go comp. They wont pull as far in the rpm band either so its a lot less power if you look at that way.

You want the sound get them. If nothing else it will keep a lot of people from even trying you. Except really fast cars. Ouch.

But the comp stage I nsr cams will outperform them down low, in the middle and up high. Let alone the stage IIs. Comp nsr stage I gain like 25plbs of tq that is crazy.

neither of them shows how the car idles. Sounds stock on the video. Doesnt sound stock in person. One day I will make one. Could mess with everyone and slow the idle down.

ok........i called Ford Racing yesterday and they are the ones that told me they where boxing up about 7 sets of cams as we where talkin on the phone.........those sets are already gone im sure, but he said there is another 50 sets on order from their "supplier".......i wonder who the hell is making this cam for them????

07stanggt, if i cant get this FRPP cam thing sorted out SOON, i might consider a set of comps........but i can freakin' get the FRPPs for $672!!! i know the comps are cheaper, but thats a good price vs. $750 from suttonHP.........

672 is a real good price. i heard 750. Tell you what else you could do man. Um get the specs on those frpp cams and i can have comp cut you a set. Custom grinds dont cost anymore money/ same specs, same idle.

Look at the Brenspeed dyno graph, power loss to about 4500 rpm. A tech at Ford racing told me that the hot rod cams don't lose anything down low. Do I necessarily believe him? I never said that. These cams are about as real as a unicorn as far as I am concerned. Sutton is taking orders for them, although they have never had them, seen them, or know when they are coming out. Justin Burcham supposedly has them in that white car on Youtube but he told me that the cams in that car REQUIRED springs.

People can believe what they want, I want some proof. Then I will buy them immediately, regardless of how much power they make, I want the idle. The track won't let me run under 13.5 without a six point cage in my vert anyway.
