damn. Thats the highest guess i got. Justin at JPC said 12.8 if im lucky, he said traction will be a real issue. He told me to launch at 3500 and slip the clutch. The boys at SGS said solid 12.5 that way it sits. lower with some dr's

You set a high standard.

you running street radials, right?

slip the clutch at 2500 if so... when I went to the track for the first time, my bone stock car would spin if I launched higher than 2500

I dunno man. Typically in the drag racing world, until you start getting down in to the 9's, where you need to start increasing power exponentially to go faster, roughly every 100 hp will get you a second in a 3200 lb car.

You started at 300 bhp bone stock in a 3550-ish lb car. Now, at 352 rwhp, you are making approximately 420 flywheel hp, allowing for roughly 15% parasitic loss. That, combined with your gears, suspension, shifter, motor mounts, and shorty antenna, should get you close to what I suggested. IMO.

Assuming, as I said, you can drive, the atmospheric conditions are good that day, and your track has a good surface.

Now, get out there, and make Zippy happy!

Will do man. Tomorrow is the test. I would be real happy with a mid 12.

yeah... I guess that .0000000000000000000000000001% less drag helps

Edit: Duh... how could I be so stupid... that gives 15RWHP, right... or is it 20? lol

Thanks man.

Yeah, I haven't had any time to detail the car since I pulled it out of storage. That, and the fact that they use sand up here in the winter, makes for a really messy, dusty spring. Thankfully they just cleaned the roads today.

Here's what it normally looks like:

Zip, do you know if that grill(Upper & Lower) will fit the GT/CS front end? I think my lower inlet is bigger than the regular GT front...not sure..

The upper, I think so, the lower, I don't know. Give them a call from that info I posted on the first page and ask em'.

They're smoked, but they're getting condensation in them. I have to take them off and seal them.
