I installed mine and yes you do have to cut the front fascia. The directions are pretty straigt forward and I used a roto-zip tool to cut the fascia. At first I didn't want to cut on my front end but I really like the look.

I wouldn't feel comfortable cutting my front fascia either, but it did turn out pretty good. Looks nice.

I am sure this is a dumb question but as great as cdc is why in the world could they not make the spoiler be a direct fit? Serious question not being a SA

That was the first question I thought of when I started reading the directions before I installed it. They do have one that is a direct bolt on I think its the classic chin spoiler. I think the concept is the large open area below the fascia allows more air in the engine area. The aggressives really looks cool with a intercooler hiding behind it.

I used a cordless saws-all and was surprised at the need to cut the facia.. but figured if the operation turned out bad... mod it with a whole new one...

and I agree mine does look sweet with the intercooler exposed... almost warm enough to get it painted now

Ok I understand now....I do feel the aggressive spoiler is awesome and a less expensive alternative to a front end appearance change

You should pick up on of these black out panels. It will look awesome with your grill.

And those SHR louvers would look pretty good too
