Throttle body and fuel rails are next. Clear coat it? Or clear the CEL?

clear coat to make it nice and shiny. looks are everything. if you are going to take the time to remove and do all the work why not take the extra time to put on a few coats of clear. i'll be taking mine down to at local place for some nice black chrome powder coat.

The red is shiny enough for me. If it dulls out over time then I will repaint it and clear coat it.

Wife comment was made solely on the nagging comments. Yes I do care about my car but I dont work a 9-5 job and Its not easy for me to clean everything. I clean before shows sure and I wash it every chance I get, but the engine I do once a week, maybe every other.

I'm not trying to nag on ya, but to be honest, thats how alot of problems occur, by having a filthy engine bay. I seen some that people never cleaned. Hell, my 02's engine was so clean when I traded it in that the guy at the dealership thought that I had just put a new engine in it or something. He couldn't believe that a car of that year could look so clean. It's good to see that your gonna start cleaning though. Unfortunatly I don't have any pics on-line of it, and no engine pics, but my dealership has some exterior pics. Btw I had a Mach 1 Grille delete & shorty Antenna on there, but they removed them for some stupid reason.

I don't think they will ever sell the car though, because the price for the year is way to high, and they had the car since the beginning of March when I traded it in. Oh and to anyone not in NY, this will give you an idea of how expensive cars are in upstate NY.
