It will be interesting to see how the cams help you. I cant make a prediction becuase obviously no way to research them. But with the peak on peak power they said they gain and the tq. I would think with where you are now you will hitting 12s with the cams. One thing is for sure your car will sound right at home in those stageing lanes

You race all the time? how did the 3.73s affect your times?

Thanks. will do. Next wed my goal is just to hit like a 12.6 or 12.7.

Gotta remember all the pointers ive gotten, drive through the water, stop right at the edge and do a burnout till they smoke some, stop right as the second stageing light comes on, 3500rpms and work the clutch, you want the tires to spin a little if you dead hook you'll bog, I wonder how hard ill be able to hit second with these tires, cuase i couldnt powershift second with the nittos street tires.

Yeah it was something like that. I can't remember what thread it was in either. I think I said something like 12.29@112 or so.

ummm really, so are you saying with my street legal mt et streets i should avoid it also. hmmmm. i've gone through the water box when there wasn't enough water and i couldn't get them hot enough. i run run it up to around 4 grand and let it sit there till i feel it starting to bog and then let off the brakes. i've never had a problem with spinning when using that method. yes the water is needed. not on street tires though. just a quick spin to get the dirt/rocks off with the street tires

I personally have seen better results on dr's without water... watever works for you is fine. But since he asked for suggestions I've gave mine. I am going to the track for the very first time and hopefully will run with him. I personally think he is going to set me up with those DRs and kill me. He is a pretty good driver so I would say his driver mod is in place. just hope I hook up a little....we will see. I have a 03 cobra with close to 500 to the rear wheels with street radials and stock suspension. We will have video of 07stangt's run whether I run or not. I would like everyones guess on my first run time and trap just for kicks. I will post and see who is close after run.
