tried scanning these sheets in but it wont work My copier wont even copy them. So i guess i gotta type this shit out. Anyway im kinda dissapointed, after my very first run ever down the 1/4 was a 13.16 I thought i was surely gonna end up in 12.8 area but it wasnt to be. I cant drive i guess. maybe i should stick to road racing. at least i hope its me cuase i thought the car could do mid 12s solid.

made 5 runs. The conditions on the sheet are as follows it say temp F. 167??? it wasnt 167 degreee i dont get that. RH 130 and baro 31.25

Here are the numbers from the first run on the left in order. I launched from idle everytime but the 13.73 and 13.22 runs. i tried to go from like 2000 or 2500 and just spun. Plus i tried to powershift second those runs and the cars just breaks loose. The best runs were just launching off idle and granny shifting second. bang the rest. The 13.73 i had the tcs on becuase i forgot and when i grab second the nose just dived cuase it kicked in.

times are not bad im guessing you were on street tires? any way that mph shows that the car will prob run low 12s on motor nice!!!

was the track 167* surface maybe???? not bad... your 60's suck for 352hp and 3.73 and nitto's, but! it takes time and practice.. you should be loooow 12's with your car and you need lca's and sticky tire so and you can launch around 4000 or so

fucking sucks. I tried not to get my hopes up but I really thought i could at least do a 12.8. fuck it.

the only good thing is that believe it or not I won all but 1 of the races i was in. A, ws6 trans am with lid and exhuast, he ran a 13.5, a grand national that had me by like 3 cars lengths at the 8th and i just drove around his ass, old buick 442, i destroyed him, again drove around him. an STI, never again do i want to hear shit about those cars on this site. i didnt see one break mid 13s tonight. The one car that stomped me was a 06 stang with a 100shot basically stock other then that he ran a 12.64 to my best run. maybe he brought out the best in me.


zootoxn i see you looking remember the trans am from the car showed that dynoed at 327. thats the ws6 i raced. he will be down oc saturday i got his number.

see...pointers always helpI was only 3/10's of a second off when estimating your first run. that is awesome first time out, not talking from experience though. I watch some first timers on pass time /speed channel pull 17 first run. You are usually balls all out on the throttle...just gotta get it to stick.

Damn!!!! and it wasnt recorded. Hope his girl friend got it. I thought the two of you would be a great race. Is his car lighter? That had to be one loud run because his car sounded nice as well.

it was a great race becuase he ran like 13.5s solid all night. Like me when he tried to launch hard he was spinning. I think the run againts him was my 13.229 and he ran like a 13.54. what was fun is getting the vaunted 350ci push rod at the end with top end. cuase like all night, he had a nose on me at the 8th. I love these cams.

I think the trans am are the same weight us s197s.

If you can cut your 60' and your reaction time you will get the time you are looking for. Work on getting the "tree" down and that will make a big difference as well as figuring out the best rpm for your start so you are not experiencing a high amount of tire spin. Keep trying, remember its supposed to be fun.

oh and as far as noise we werent shit dude there was top fuel looking cars making runs tonight. half the cars there were trailered track cars. quite of few 9 and 8 second runs tonight. some bad as mustangs a gt500 on slicks and skinnys running 9s all night long baby. dont know what else was done to it.

Also curious how I should launch should I run next Wednesday. Just can't damage the daily driver. I have street radials and close to 500 to the rear. Should I always launch from idle and feather up like I do on "private" streets. Traction off? anyone else with advice, remember it's an 03 cobra. absolutely stock suspension.

If your running on test-n-tune night reaction times don't mean crap.
you could sit at the light and smoke a cigarette and it wouldn't change your ET.
On the other hand if he is bracket racing reaction sometimes is the difference in winning and losing.

DUDE i will eat a stock termi for brunch if i could freaking drive. Justin told me to launch at 3500 with these tires, shit i couldnt launch at 2500. I dont know dude. I gotta slip the clutch more or something.
