I've read the same things you have, power, about Pypes product's. Mixed reviews.

Typically you get what you pay for however.

There are some people who have had stuff that fits like a glove, and other who have had stuff fit like crap. I know my Bassani stuff fit perfectly, and two years and 20k miles later, they still look new.

Can't go wrong with higher end stuff such as Bassani, MBRP, or Corsa.

You should have just went with the Borla Stinger axlebacks from LMPerformance.com for $491.00, and then bought a Pypes O/R H for $174.00 from Brenspeed to go with it. That's the setup I have.

This is what the Borla Stingers, and Pypes O/R H sound like together:

haha thats you in that video...i always watch that from the first day i got my stang til now. I cant run an o/r because my state has emissions and id fail so i plan on getting a catted h pipe down the road...i guess its just a mental thing knowing i have a catback instead of just axle back

Thats not my video, it's Tacobill's, but my car sounds just like it. Just get the O/R H and swap it out for inspections. It's not that hard, and it's only once a year, hell, I have to do the same thing.

powerhouse21, you paid too much! I'm assuming 140135 is the part number you ordered? If it is, take a look at the following:

Borla 140135 - Borla Stainless Steel Car Exhaust Systems - JEGS (The only downside is that it's out of stock until June 5th, but the upside is that it's only $650.97.)

If it's not the same one you ordered, link me to the one you did and I'll show you the appropriate one. It might not be too late to cancel your order because it's still Sunday!

Just tell 'em you bought the wrong one by accident. If they say anything like they'll change the order, just say something like they don't have the one you want in stock or something lol. If they have a no questions asked return policy, then just ask for a refund lol. Good luck!

At least now you know to shop around . Btw, even if you can't get them to do it, then it's only $50 lol. Once you get the exhaust you won't care. I just ordered my exhaust through Jegs.com, the same one as you but for the previous model.

Borla 140067 - Borla Stainless Steel Car Exhaust Systems - JEGS

I know i'm a little late getting into this thread, but i like my pypes. I don't like the violaters, but the mid-mufflers are awesome looking and sounding. wouldn't waste my money on the borla.

Hey its worth extra for the fact that they have it in stock. What if on the 10th the other place still doesnt have that thing. service counts in my book. Also if you want to save money i would just get the axle backs. are these cat back pipes even bent different considering the stingers mount to them?
