I personally would not change the whole catback. I think just changing the axleback is fine, unless you want to do O/R H pipe. You can buy the Borla axle back for about $550. You could also buy the Ford version and save about $50. As far as pipes go, I think their axleback systems are okay.

No catback. You don't don't need it. Just axle backs. Go for the FRPP stingers and splice in prochamber.

well. I can do a splice in prochamber that mounts to your stock cats with your mm discount for 274.00, and the frpp stingers $470. The stingers themselves dont come as a catback system. No real need for a catback system but I sell the mac and the magnaflow cat back systems though both are about 579.

change that both magnaflow catbacks are 579 the mac catback is 389. I think you will like the stingers better though.

so would the sound be any louder/deeper with a catback vs. an axle back. I really want a deep loud muscle car sound thats why i was looking towards cat back...isnt having 2.5" vs. stock piping going to improve sound and gains?

Hey don't know where you are, but if your close to Wynne Ford which is in Hampton, va We have a few cars on the lot with Pypes muffler delete kits installed, actually we have them in stock as well as the SLP loudmouth system. i have installed a couple pypes systems, one being a complete Dual Conversion Kit on a 4.0L , so far no major problems, a couple fitment issues, but it's metal so it bends. LOL Either way if you wanna check out what it looks and sounds like installed, feel free to stop by.

so no the sound will be no different with a catback. the stingers with the prochamber will be deeper and louder then what you have.

yea its no gain in power or sound. They are both 2.5 all your looking at is some better angles on the bends over the axle maybe, but that isnt going to make a difference on a stock manifolds and catted systems certainly.
