My New Custom Head Unit Install(PICS)


Spent the last 3 days installing a custom sound system in my car and finally finished! Didnt like the look of the single din with storage pocket so i custom fabbed one out of 3/4 delerin. switches arent wired up yet but im going to finish them this weekend when i install the push button start

Nice work, for those interested, speed of sound produces similar items and you can engrave in anything you want the switches labeled as:

I like that one as well, they used a bulky head unit, but if you got one that had a more flush trim to it and sat deaper in the dash, that would be the hotness..

luis, im removing the outlet this weekend and replacing it with a push button start.

and i can easily mill guages in. i really like the way it came out. i drafted it and milled it on my buddys CNC machine

I like the cupholder switches. I don't know what I hook them up to but these guys produce some quaility looking stuff. It's good thinking on their part to come up with something different than everyone else does and make it look oem. Sort of reminds me of something Silverhorse Racing would make.

yea, i was gonna do a double din touch screen, but i really liked the speed of sound ones. but i wanted it to be made out of delarin.

ive been talkin to my buddy and were thinking of redoing the entire dash in delerin. it would be a first, and wouldnt be to hard.
