Yeah I dunno. Could very well be. I do know that Steeda makes two versions of their cowl hoods, a street & a race version, so perhaps the regular glass hood is indeed heavier.

But you know, some camshafts n'shit will help get that extra weight moving.

90 bucks to put it in, 269 for the shifter itself.

Congrats on your purchases Zipper. And it's good to see that your enjoying your new mods. Great pics too, good shit. Hopefully i'll be happy with my modding, as soon as my Tuner & CAI come in. I'm just waiting on Brenspeed, then I can install my O/R H as well.

Free if you do it yourself. Trust me, changing shifters isn't that hard man. It's one of the simplest things to do mod wise. No offense to you though Zippa, because some I understand don't wanna do it or whatever, plus you had other stuff done, so it's understandable.

I plan on it, but i'm probably only gonna do 3.73's or 3.90's, i'm not sure that I wanna do 4.10's, especially since this car is my DD for now, and I think 4.10's will probably spin alot worse in snow.

No offense taken at all man. I normally like doing my own work, but since I had it there as you said for other stuff, and I have been so freakin' busy lately, I just paid them the 90 bucks to put it in.

I drive my car 500 miles a week. Every week. My rpm went up about 350 rpm on the highway, from 2100 to about 2450 at 70 mph, in 5th gear.

We'll see. I would also have to find a shop that installs them. I believe my Ford Dealer does, but i'm not 100% positive. And I won't do them myself. I'll swap my engine and do all of that shit, but not gears, because they're to sophisticated for me. And I would'nt wanna screw something up. Like I said though we'll see, and if my Ford does do gear installs, I guess that will help give me even more of a reason to get gears. I hear you on the busy part too, because I just came off vacation Thursday, and after vacation you know things are crazy lol. Anyone know how long it takes for them to set-up my Tuner??? Just curious, because I know it wouldn't be here yet obviously, but i'm just wondering how long it takes before they confirm that it's shipped. They said allow 5-7 days after ordering to ship, and it's been 9 not counting Sunday obviously, and will be 10 tomorrow. So should I contact them Monday after work, if I don't hear from them??? Or is this normal, and I should wait it out??? Thanks!

9 is a little much. I ordered my tuner & tunes from Bama, and 6 days later, I had the tuner in my hand in Canada. I'd give them a call if it doesn't land Monday, and see what's shaking.

Ok, thanks man. I just figured I would ask. I recieved my H pipe from them last week, so thats why I was wondering how long I gotta wait for the Custom Tunes. I knew it would take longer, but I didn't know how much longer. Thanks though, much appreciated.
