The medallion is popular.. Several guys over on stangplanet and muscle registry have it.. Popular enough that guys are customizing the medallion further to make it unique from all the others..

A couple shots:

This guy got the chrome cover, black surroung and added the gt emblem

Kooldawg over on stangnet did this to make it unique.

you gonna be selling that cdc panel?

and +1 for the no "gas cap" look. I think it looks clean. It's all about personal preference.

I have been itching to slap that on.
I fitted the Mach 1 style billet SHR cap. It's not easy and because the sticky patch is a complete circle, the only way to get the stock emblem off is with strong fingers and any legitimate method to break the seal without scratching the car.

This is my install which comes complete with some tips and raw fingers:

It looks great though and a lot less blingy.

Custom emblem

If you want a really unique design, you can go to www.uniqueautomotivedesigns.com You can get anything on your rear emblem you want. They do airbrush work and it's awesome. they'll do anything for a car or motorcycle. You can get your plenum done if you like too. I did my pony and rear emblem--Makes the stang look really
