I think my front shock is squeeking. There's the worlds most annoying high pitched squeek coming from the front of my car. It started about a month ago and got worse. I took the wheel off and squirted WD40 over all the pivot points. Except the shock to see if it was any of those. No success there. So any ideas? Is it the shock? Any getting rid of stock shocks for a Gt? Mine is 2005 with 65000 miles on them. Thanks.

and when does it squeek when you hit a bump or all the time, is it the brakes?

Squeeks all the time worse when I hit a bump. That's why I'm thinking shock. And the suspension is stock.

doubt its a shock if it does it all the time. do shocks squeek? when is the last time you got brake pads. its it a metal on metal sound?

I've heard brakes before and yeah I think I remember my shocks sqeaking on my 66 stang. I just can't remember if it's the same sound.
