Help Choosing Oil

I'm getting close to my first oil change and would like to hear what everybody else is using. Do you prefer natural oil or synthetic?
The last couple of cars I've had I used a mid priced regular oil but neither of them were Mustangs, so it's not like I was driving them like I do my stang (which can be a little rough at times) so I was not really to worried about engine protection from hard driving.

Thanks for your input in advance
Chris

I have always used Castrol, but when I pick up my new 07 I'm going to start using synthetic......probably Royal Purple. As long as you keep it changed and use a good quality oil you should have no issues.

I plan to go to synthetic too. Anyone know if you have to wait till the mileage hits a certain number before switching?? I have heard differing opinions on that.

Umm I'm pretty sure that you can just flush all the oil out and then replace it with synthetic. I don't see why that wouldn't work....

Royal Purple through out the whole drive line!RP claims an 8RWHP increase if you do!It's what I run in my car with a K&N oil filter.

well you dont want to break anengine in with sythetic becasue it wont ever break in. once youve got over 1000 miles or so on a new engine go for it and put the synthetic in!!!
