vengeance is mine.Getting ready to take my car back to JPC so he can drive it. the vibration I think i might feel is at 65, just in the floor. its slight, i cant tell if its a vibration or not, some other people that spend time in my ride says its in my head the car always vibrated like that. I just dont know, maybe im being paroniod. damn driveshafts. he said they tested the drivshaft and they mounted in the 6 different possible posistions???? to make sure they had the best one. Sound right? |

I ended up going to the track tonight but i went on my 18s with nitto street tires. to lazy to change tires, and i wanted to see what i could do on them anyway.
ran 3 times all 13.04, 13.05, 13.07 all about 110.30 trap speeds. launching anywhere from off idle on the first and fastest run to 2500 rpms on the slowest. First time i ever went to the track was the only time i have been there on the nittos. im gonna find that thread and see what my fastest was. i know a did a 13.16 i think. so if thats true and it was a much cooler day that day. i guess you could say the ds and control arms helped me 2/10s or more depending on weather. trap speeds are still the same though. hotter i guess. it was humid and warm tonight. |

scratch that i ran a 13.03 and a 13.08 my first time at the strip on my nittos. so i still dont know where this hp increase is from the DS.

first time at the track i didnt have the DS and the upper and lower control arms. thats what im saying, i dont see a gain, with my dr's or on street tires launching of idle. unless the weather made the difference tonight.

so you don't feel a difference with the DS. Do you feel anything with the UCA &LCA

oh on the street i feel tons of difference with the mods. the car feels faster, a lot faster with the ds, its just not showing up at the track. like i said, maybe its the weather, maybe its my driving i dont know, mayve there is something wrong.
I do think im more consistent with times and thats due to the control arms. |

weather makes a big difference... my last time at the strip I was so pissed I couldn't get within 3 tenths of best on a great pass that I bought a big bag of ice and melted the whole thing on my motor.... ran 2 tenths quicker for one run... the next run I mis-shifted and broke a rod bearing... stroker will be done in 2 weeks!!!

Man, you guys have been getting some pretty warm and ultra humid weather though. Was out in DC last weekend and the difference between that and Chicago was like night and day in terms of humidity. That's gotta be impacting you somewhat, right?
