rookie at the track
Finally made it out to the track tonight. It was freakin' awesome! I wasn't too happy with my times, but i had a full trunk with my 12's and spare in it. I raced a 04 vette, ram, and 08 v6 mustang. Won them all. Best run of the night was against the vette...
R/T - .7424 60ft - 2.1743 330ft - 6.0821 1/8et - 9.1053 1/8mph - 79.98 I'm guessing the vette sucked only getting a 9.3 at 80mph? I dropped my 20's down to around 25psi. Was my 60ft good for street tires? |

with all that weight and not much experience it probably helped alot. i'd say a 2.1 for i believe you said 1st time is pretty good with 20's and street tires. given you work at the tire shop and get a pretty decent discount you should look at the nitto dr's. drop them down to 20psi and see what they will do.

My next performance mods will deffinatly be DR's and lca's. Suprisingly, i had the best time of any street cars there last night so i'm wondering if my times could be better with cooler weather. I had no problems with grip, my ass sank perfectly every time launching from aroun 3K.

Congrats man!
I'm popping my cherry tomorrow. Running at a 1/4 mile track here. Hell, I don't think we have 1/8 mile tracks in Michigan.
