yea but at the sametime an LS1 with full exhaust is capable of high 12's

I ran a G8 GT, we were pretty much even. He started to creep on me after 100mph. Although I didn't have my Bamachips race tune yet at the time and was running my K&N CAI. With my mods now I will pull way ahead of a G8.

at a track or just on the street? Your car is faster then both. dont worry about the ls1s. more hype then anything else. i see them run 13.5s even with lids and exhaust all the time. and they still try to stick their nose up at stangs. I see them doing it in my mirror from about 10 cars lenghts back.

not only does it not work like that, but automatics are slower (imc) than sticks because autos have more drivetrain loss.

Not to hijack but are you runnin anything else with your prokit? (struts, shocks, panhard) ???

LS1's are fun to racereal even i know im a damn good shifter i know my car damn well i challenge even corvettes on the street. they are damn near even.

my bad just over a grand in mods i have spent 632 on slicks and rims, 300 on exhaust, 280 on ring and pinion, 210 for the lca's, 584 shipped Diablosport preditor, s&b CAI, moto blue UDP's.

sorry im late with the results but heres what happened. as far as the g8 gt i put at least 5 lengths on him he didnt have a chance. now the ls1 i ran him 2 times. first run i stalled the car as high as it could go and spun off the line bad and he got me by 1 length. second run i got it up to 1500 rpms and the car hooked so did his but i started to pull on him. he started to come around but i stop him at his tracks and i beat him by a car and a half. we were going to do a 3rd race but it started to rain to we just called it a tie for now. i know for a fact my next mods are going to be a converter and full length drive shaft then i know i will kill him whenever the 3rd race happens. the ls1 was an auto and had longtubes, full exhaust, cai, drag radials and 3.73 gear. the g8 was bone stock with drag radials.

No, just the prokit. I do need to get the alignment bolts. My front wheels toe out just a hair.

Nice kills man. You should hook up with some drag radials too.
