Ah, thanks. Guess I could have asked them. I'm jsut worried about the longevity of that normal bolt in the cam cover.

Thanks Stanglifemike!

"Other people who run the C&L Street - did you use the C&L MAF bracket that bolts onto the front bolt of the driver's side cam cover?"

Use it, just grind a slot in the bracket to the bolt hole, so you don't have to pull the bolt out. Just loosen it, slip the bracket onto the bolt shaft under the bolt head and tighten. Makes it that much more stable.

Dang, that is smart modding! Such a simple solution -- wish I had thought of it... thanks!

STI's are quick but not that quick. a mustang with a good driver should take a sti out every day of the week.

I know how oyu feel, I just put in my CAI/tune as well and it's amazing.

BTW: St. Chuck, IL, do you mean St. Charles? I don't live too far from you then, I'm on the NW side of Chicago.

Yep, yep, "St. Charles: the Pride of the Fox" as far as city slogan goes, pride is another word for arrogance and that describes St. Chuck to a T.

There's a growing contingent of us suburban Chicago S197s around: Emay is just a few clicks North along the river and HeavyGT is in Bartlett I believe. I keep foiling Emay's plans to prove I exist outside of the forums, we should all meet up sometime though.

BLACJAC -- you crack me up when he said "pt job" I don't think he meant pity job (j/k)

Yeah, I was supposed to meet HeavyGT once to hear his exhaust but never did. Bartlett isn't far from where you are. Probably closer than south Elgin. I'm the furthest though, I'm a good half hour from Bartlett. My brother lives in Algonquin though, and has seen Emay driving. We should all meet up some day or something.

I have not even tried the 93 tune. Since gas is so steep I am using the 87 tune with my racer intake but I agree I got a case of the grins the night I installed mine and test drove it. It was like a rocket compared to stock. I may have to fill up with 93 next time and change the tune to try it. My wife may wonder why it is taking more to fill up though haha. Congrats though.

Thanks man. Yeah, I've only been running it on 93 since I installed the intake. It costs an extra, oh, $3 a week I figure. I buy cheaper coffee beans to compensate.

I'm going to have to run the 87 tune sometime just to see what the difference is though. Maybe when I get 4.10s.
