Well im sure you know my opinion. Your car is very nice looking. I think the s197 is the best looking stang ever. for the drag strip, i know this will get me flamed and outted, but i see those termis running 13s all the time with mods, they just cant hook. talk potentional all you want! i see 400hp c6 vettes with IRS running low 12s bone stock with rookies driving them and modded termis in the 13s with 400+ at the wheels sometimes. yea for the highway they are bad ass roll racers. but i like your car for style and track performance. Just the way I look at things.

Yes. Very little mods get you to 450 at the wheels.

Keep your 'stang. You'll regret selling it.

Lol, Bama sounds like management potential!
![]() Juco, keep yer S197. It looks better than the New Edge style and 50k miles is still 50k miles for a Ford. If you feel like making more power, you know who here has the mods and wisdom to make your Mustang hook with gobs of F/I. Short answer is it's not me.

If you feel like adding more power with the termie you add a 100 shot of nitrous and have 600hp at the wheels no sweat. I would do it. That is a great price.

Just my opinion and im biast on the issue. I love the new stang. it also depends on what kinda fast you mean. potential for power is sick, but does it equate to track times? i dont know man, i guess you need to spend some real money on suspension and tires to make those things hook. Maybe you should post in the 4 vavle section, they no better then me. my problem right now is that i havent seen a termi or gt 500 at cecil county yet this year run a better time then mine. and thats sad. i know they are out there but come on, they all should be blowing me off the damn track.

A beefed up IRS with sticky tires will cut 1.6 60' all day long.

450 with pulleys, tune, cai, TB. maybe 500 with long tubes and all the rest. anymore you need to port the blower or swap that eaton out. its not cheap stuff man, i have sold all that. |

Well you can say that, maybe they are all shity. but again, we can talk potential and theory, or we can talk reality. and it shouldnt be a drivers race with a 500+hp gt 500. like i said, a stock c6 with a idiot at the wheel will run low 12s all night, on street tires with IRS.

I know the vette is lighter, but come on. its the supercharger, to much torq to soon to launch on anything but a built suspension and slicks.

My friend has a termie with only a catback and he was running 12.40s-12.60s at the track last month on Nittos.
That being said, I'd keep your car. I love those Cobras, but S197s are just way cooler, and the Cobra is a convertible...
