Hey Twist2Go, or anyone with insight on TSB 05-14-4

05-14-4
WRENCH LIGHT ON WITH BOTH DTC P2106 AND P2135 - VEHICLES BUILT 11/29/2004 AND PRIOR

This has been plaguing me for the last month or so.

It was it's worse just last night, to the point where I don't even want to drive the car now.

Thanks

was starting to think there was something wrong with the throttle control, then found this great article about ford etc; http://articles.d-tips.com/art8.html

So after reading that article I realize that I'm going to need a computer engineering degree to be smarter then my car.
I guess in theory the drive by wire sounds good, but to me it just seems like more things to go wrong.

ISSUE:
Some vehicles built 11/29/2004 and prior may exhibit the wrench light on with both P2106 and P2135 diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).

ACTION:
Replace the throttle position sensor (TPS) following the instruction sheet included in the TPS service kit. Reprogram the powertrain control module (PCM) to the latest calibration using WDS release B36.11 and higher, or B37.2 and higher. This new calibration is not included in the B37 CD. Calibration files are also available at www.motorcraft.com.

Thats the fix for the problem. You could replace the tps by youreself, but you cant flash youre pcm with the new file from ford.
