Cam Install?

I went to a shop here in northern virginia and was quoted for $600 for the comp nsr cam install and $400 for long tube headers. The headers price is fine but 600 for cams? I thought it would be the other way around, is this a fair price or is it too high?

I think I paid $440 for my NSR cam install. I was quoted as high as $1500 by MRT.

I'd drive to qwik's house, park the car in the garage, go inside and eat and drink beer while he does the install. when he finishes give him a $20 tip and go back home. J/k

haha... its all good dude.. I'm no cop. And if your old enough to die for your country.. well.. or you can just watch me drink beer

I took my valve covers off today just to take a peak in the top end of these things. Nicely laid out and I love the VCT system.... its all controlled by oil pressure... just like VTEC

phaser bolts are one time us only... torqued to yeild.. once stretch, shot.

wife drives a fast little honda! I used to piddle around with imports (hondas... mainly b16a3's and k20a's... had a stripped out crx that I learned a lot with... got it in the 12's at least...) I dont really favor brands... I just like ANYTHING that makes power and goes fast. I love it all...

I''ma go have some Sake and hairy crotched chinese whores now... thanks.. I thought I was over this....
