Yeah. As soon as my suspension is set I will be at the track a lot. Especially next year. A friend of mine will have his cobra done and we will be at the track just about every weekend possible. I'm going to get a pair of extra 17x9's and a set of 275/40 Mickey DR's.

Basically I'm setting the suspension up for forced induction next winter hopefully. I was going to do nitrous but I've decided to wait and do forced induction and a built bottom end at the same time, so I'm waiting and saving as much money as possible.

To each his/her own; make sure you do what YOU want, and what makes you

IMO it looks like you have a great start

Its true.

Anybody have any hardware reccomendations for the headers? Is there any lock nuts or anything that are "Must have" or any gaskets to stay away from?

Good decision on the suspension. As far as brand goes, I'm almost exclusively BMR and cant complain about anything. Was going to do nitrous? Do both, I plan on it one day. I already have the nitrous, I wanna use it in conjunction with STS turbos to kill some of the lag that will accompany them.

I want to build the bottem end and get forced induction at the same time. From my research, to do it right, I'd be spending somewhere in the neighborhood of $2k on everything for N2O and that would be setting me back on my bottem end build and forced induction.

parts look good unless i could talk you into some bmr suspension stuff .

To answer your question on the header gaskets. i read in one of the hyland books that reuseing the stock header gaskets was your best option. He said that the stock gasket was infinitely reusable and really the best gasket on the market. Something about steel and aluminum dont play well together and the stock gaskets avoid some of the problems that some aftermarket gaskets have. I dont know im just quoting from the book. Someone else might have a more experienced opinion on that.

Look me up for that mac and d spec stuff. actually i got a set of d-specs on sale right now and i might even negotiate a little more.

If I was going to go with Hiem jointed control arms and all hard parts I'd go BMR but I've had a few friends blow the gaskets apart launching hard with BMR LCA's w/ poly bushings. Even with the new revised bushings.

As far as D-Specs, I'm only going to put them in front as I'm going with QA 1's in the rear. I'll PM about them and the MAC stuff though. I'm getting a good deal, but if you can beat it I'll grab them from you instead for sure.

I would go with steeda LCA's, panhard, 3rd link. ect I have never heard of anyone around here running j&m and I heard bmr has bushing problems. And I obviously like Bassani exhaust. But other than that good luck. Look at brenspeed's stuff. Brenspeed

i run J&M lower control arms and couldnt be happier........they are fairly easy to install, and i have almost ZERO wheel hop now, even running on stickey mickeys. i launch the car HARD at 6k+ rpm and no problems....the only other suspension i have besides that is Eibach pro springs. I got the control arms from American Muscle, paid like 115 bucks.......the ones on their site show them having grease fittings, and i saw a write up online about them having grease fittings, but i guess they redesigned them or something because mine do not have grease fittings. they are very well constructed and engineered and i have no squeeks or rattles out of mine. they have been on the car for about 6k miles or a little more.
