I have one....pulls really hard...1st gear is of no use....shift at 5900..as she will throw out 11.5 lbs at 6250 (danger zone stock undies)....get a good tune.
I put down 469 rear wheel with 20's!! |

So shift low huh.....that kinda sucks, I like the rpm's. Stock shifts at 6200, right? Can you here the Paxton while your driving/idleing? Did it take away from the fun of driving the car....when you could hold it to the floor and run it through the gears, not have to "drive" it so much!?? Do you have an automatic or stick?

We hit 6250 on the dyno and the boost was around 11.2 or 11.5 I cant remember. You really do not want more than 10-10.5 on the blocks. Also I had sprak blow out so be sure to gap down a set of Autolites..they make a colder plug just for supercharged cars..you will need to gap then down a bit. You can not here it while driving but at idel there is a alight whistle...people that know cars know something is up..but the other than that it has all but no sound. Getting used to to almost 500 RWHP (580 crank HP) does take some getting used to and you do have to drive it for a bit but after a while you can run the gears. I only have about 150 miles on my car since we put it in so I shouldnt advise on this part thow. We also pulled the cats as added protection against detnation (sp?).... get a tune by a real pro or she will blow..... |

)I would be happy with 425hp at the wheels....I don't need every last drop of hp I can get. I've got an automatic and it seems to run throught the gears pretty fast as it is......Can't imagine another 200+ horsepower?!?!?

Don't go thinking your gonna get 700hp on stock internals. These 4.6 motors are at their rod limits by 450-475. If you go higher, your risking a bottom end letting go.

If I am makin the same kinda power as Proform I'll probably de-tune it a little just to be safe. It's a daily driver AND my wife drives it a few times a week and she's got a Heavy foot so I want it to be fun and reliable... ![]() http://www.procharger.com/2005_mustang_stock.shtml Home Contact Us Employment Technical Service Links 675 HP 2005 3V Mustang with stock motor, pump gas and ProCharger Don Walker: 575 RWHP (675 crankshaft HP) • 93 octane pump gas • D-1SC ProCharger • standard 3 core intercooler • 15 psi • standard 8 rib drive • stock motor • stock exhaust Justin Burcham: 565 RWHP (665 crankshaft HP) • 10.47 @ 131 mph • 100 octane unleaded • D-1SC ProCharger • 800 HP intercooler upgrade • 16 psi • standard 8 rib drive • totally stock motor • aftermarket exhaust • only ProCharger and air-to-air intercooler: no nitrous, no race fuel, and no ice! jim just built a new 07 and put a novi 220 on it. he tuned it with 91 he shittiest gas he could find as he knew the gy wouldnt be using the good gas all the time. he tuned it very conservativly and he put down 439 rwhp on a MUSTANG DYNO. not a dyno jet. nyways this was at 11 psi and very safe. sadi he could have gotten a ton more with better gas, and also it was running out of fuel at 6200 rpms so needed some fuel mods. said he could have gotten mid 500 with better gas and more edgy tuned
