Anyone put these ony your GT for looks?
If so, what kind.
Also, if you put rotors on do you need to put new pads on also?

I would certainly recommend the pads changed if nothing else!
There are several reputable big brake kit mfr's for us.

Baer,

Brembo, (They are on the gt500, you can get the cobra brake upgrade from FRPP at a decent price now. Some dealerships are starting to stock this upgrade too. They are just heavier.)

Stoptech

Wilwood - Cream of the crop imo, I'm saving for their six piston big brake kit personally.

By no means is this list meant to be exhaustive.

the one thing you want to watch for if you buy a c/d rotor is drilling near the outter edge of the rotor. the several c/d rotor setups i have seen crack were at this point, and were either from diy cross drilling or mfg's who cross drilled oem cores. however, you won't see this from any of the aboved mentioned vendors. if you do choose to piece together your brake setup and keep the original calipers, and not buy a kit, make sure you research the rotor mfg's suggestions on what type of pads to use. i ran c/d rotors on my mustang at autox several times and found that my setup actually worked better the warmer i got the rotors, with no worries in wet conditions. i could also tell and audible difference in brakeing noise though.
