I witnessed a first hand dyno session with reguards to cut-outs...

They killed the low and mid range torque and HP...... and there was no hp gain in the upper rpms what so ever.

Plus I think they sound like ass.

Well if they don't kill power I'd like cutouts on either my dads or my car.

There a big complication, and require a good bit of welding and fitting. A waste of time and money, not to mention extra weight that does nothing for performance, but slow you down.

Im pretty old though, maybe im wrong.

what exactly are you trying to accomplish with the cut outs? Do you want a louder sound with your car? I guess I'm trying to just understand why change are you trying to make via cut outs because there's most likely a different way that won't take away from performance
