I witnessed a first hand dyno session with reguards to cut-outs...
They killed the low and mid range torque and HP...... and there was no hp gain in the upper rpms what so ever. Plus I think they sound like ass.

Well if they don't kill power I'd like cutouts on either my dads or my car.

There a big complication, and require a good bit of welding and fitting. A waste of time and money, not to mention extra weight that does nothing for performance, but slow you down.
Im pretty old though, maybe im wrong. |

what exactly are you trying to accomplish with the cut outs? Do you want a louder sound with your car? I guess I'm trying to just understand why change are you trying to make via cut outs because there's most likely a different way that won't take away from performance
